Finance Intern

Caritas Switzerland Country Office for Kosovo is seeking an enthusiastic candidate for the position of a Finance Intern.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain filing of monthly accounting vouchers and other supporting finance documents.
• Assist in the compiling and review of supporting documentation for various audits.
• Photocopy and scan the financial documents when required.
• To support the Finance Team during digitalization process.
• To prepare vouchers for office expenses.
• To support the Finance Team in preparing the office inventory list.
• To support the Finance Team in field visits and review of the partner finance reports and supporting documents.
• Getting familiar with accounting / finance management in an international organization.
• Monitors the mentor's performance to gain as much experience as possible.
• Learns to use software, such as Abacus, SAPI and others as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• Current student or graduate majoring in Accounting, Finance, or another similar field.
• Self-starting, enthusiastic and flexible approach to the organization
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Be dynamic, flexible, creative, and ready to work in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Albanian (both written and spoken); knowledge of Serbian is an asset.
• Very good skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  

The intern will work under supervision of the Finance Team.

Contract: The Finance Intern will have a six-month contract with Caritas Switzerland in Kosovo governed by the Labour Law of Kosovo. The Intern will receive a monthly stipend.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm with public holidays as per the Caritas Switzerland in Kosovo, Public holiday list.
