We are hiring a Painting Cost Estimator to join remotely to the team of one of our clients from New York. The ideal candidate is an experienced Architect or Civil engineer who loves analyzing plans and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates that can be used to bid on residential and commercial painting jobs.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects, review and validate cost estimates using technology.
• Prepares and estimates budget costs by studying plans and specifications.
• Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
• Resolves cost differences by analyzing and collecting info.
• Writes up and presents budgets, reports, and project plans.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Civil Engineering or Architecture background
• Read architectural plans in detail
• Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual, take pride in owning your responsibilities and contributing to the team
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as proofreading and editing abilities
• Must be a Quick learner and willing to learn to use new CRM -software - OnCenter - the client will cover the training for it.
