Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinery Automation Specialist to design, procure, and implement hardware and software to streamline the production and assembly of Steel Fabrication (LGS & HSS - Hot Structural Section) in our factory in Kosovo. As the Machinery Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our factory operates at maximum efficiency by automating our production and assembly lines.

Our factory exclusively exports to the US Market which in turn is used to develop mid-rise multifamily buildings, high-end single-family homes, warehouses, and multi-level mini-storage facilities. Therefore, we require someone who has a deep understanding of steel fabrication production, assembly, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation processes in our factory to improve production efficiency and optimize throughput.
• Develop hardware and software solutions to streamline the production and assembly of Steel Fabrication (LGS & HSS - Hot Structural Section).
• Collaborate with the production team to identify automation opportunities, design automated solutions, and procure the necessary equipment.
• ·Provide technical support and training to factory staff to ensure proper operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
• ·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation solutions are integrated seamlessly with existing production processes.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in automation and steel fabrication to ensure that our factory remains competitive in the market.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machinery automation, preferably in steel fabrication production.
• Knowledge of hardware and software systems for automation. Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI development, and motion control systems is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Fuson360 or Inventor AutoCAD, to design custom equipment and fixtures.
• Experience with CNC machines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to our US-based customers and partners.
