Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Fintech Turnaround & Scale-up
As the CEO of a fintech startup in need of a turnaround, you will be tasked with setting a new direction, fostering a culture of innovation, driving financial stability, and building a strong brand reputation. The goal is to identify the underlying issues causing the current struggle, establish strategic initiatives for recovery, and lead the company towards sustainable growth and profitability. This role demands a leader with a strong background in finance and technology, excellent business acumen, and proven experience in turning around struggling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision and Leadership
- Strategic Vision and Leadership: Developing and re-evaluating the company's strategic goals and operational plans for a successful turnaround.
- Market Analysis and Business Development: Conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, and enhancing market presence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as the primary spokesperson and ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders like investors, customers, and the media.
Financial and Operational Management
- Financial Oversight and Management: Overseeing financial restructuring, implementing financial controls, and guiding the company towards profitability.

- Technology and Data Utilization: Integrating the latest fintech technologies and ensuring robust cybersecurity measures of Swinto App.

- Talent Management and Organizational Development: Driving a performance-based culture, and managing talent recruitment and retention.
- Continuous Learning and Industry Engagement: Keeping updated with industry trends and participating in forums for the company's benefit.
Qualifications required for the job:
Educational Background:
- Advanced Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is essential. An MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred, providing a solid foundation in business and financial principles.
- Fintech Knowledge: Specialized courses or certifications in fintech, digital banking, or related technologies are advantageous, showcasing a deep understanding of the sector.
Professional Experience:
- Proven Turnaround Expertise: Demonstrable experience in successfully turning around businesses, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector. This includes showing evidence of rescuing companies from financial distress, reorganizing operations, and achieving profitability.
- Industry Experience: A strong track record in the fintech industry or related financial services, with a clear understanding of market dynamics, regulatory environments, and emerging technologies.
- Leadership Roles: Experience in senior leadership roles (such as a CEO, COO, or similar positions), with a history of effective team building, organizational restructuring, and strategic decision-making.
