Senior CBS Technical and Business Analyst (fixed-term)

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Review and research of new system’s modules to help improve efficiency across banking areas. Responsible for Business/Technical Analysis for Core Banking System that enhance/upgrade existing applications and/or add new applications.
• Assist in projects that aim Core Banking Transformation.
• Perform analysis activities on systems related to products, process and/or procedures for business units to improve core functions.
• Accountable for existing and new core module implementations, analyzing local developments and replacement to Back to Core functionality.
• Participate into Process Re-engineering, Banking Transformation and Core Banking project; study the “As Is” processes and designs “To-Be” processes for greater efficiency.
• Participate in Model Bank design including: processes, workflows, role definitions, reports. Provide the parameter Configuration/Customization workflow/demo data required related to core modules enhancements or improvements.
• Responsible to smoothly adapt business requirements into Core Banking System. Help to improve and address existing business needs related to products, CRM, IFRS, Treasury products, Payments, Cards, Reporting and Web Services.
• Guide the team on how to use agile practices, principles and theory. Ensure that all impediments are removed, responsible for co-leading the team to build and design new features on the systems to moving forwards and implement them to deliver business value. Work with Agile coaches and Scrum Masters and other leaders to prioritize needs for business segments.
• Focuses on continuous improvement and plays a consultative role to put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools, to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze and decompose complex requirements. Troubleshoot and problem solve issues as it arises. Take ownership of day to day issues and escalations and brings issues to resolution. Perform structured problem solving based on root cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, suggest solutions, prepare business cases and provide business justification.
• Support IT projects from requirement collection to implementation. Validate that the application meets the project specifications and business's expectations by being part of phases of the project life cycle.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience in analysis of Bank products
• Degree in associated discipline or equivalent experience
• Resourcefulness and ability to take initiative and assist in completeness within the time frame of projects
• Good knowledge of Bank product range
• Motivator, communicator, pro active, flexible and stress resistant
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Fluent in both English and Albanian, spoken and written
